A strong, caring voice for a fairer, greener, more connected Woodstock.Cynthia Muthoni

๐ŸŒฟ Local, Caring and Ready to Represent You

Cynthia Muthoni is a local resident and a young mum who moved to Woodstock from Oxford a year ago with her son. She quickly fell in love with the town’s strong sense of community and its amazing history.

She lives here, she cares about the people here, and she wants to help make Woodstock the best it can be.

๐ŸŒ Standing for People and the Planet

Cynthia believes that politics should work for people and the planet — not party politics. As a Green Party member, she wants to bring fresh ideas, practical thinking, and a kind, inclusive voice to the Town Council.

She stands for:

  • Sustainability – choices that protect the future and save money
  • Fairness – decisions that work for everyone, not just a few
  • Community – making sure all voices are heard

๐Ÿงก A Strong Voice for Local Services

Cynthia understands how important local services are — because she uses them herself. She wants to help protect and improve the services we all rely on, including:

  • GP and health care – everyone should be able to see a doctor near home
  • Schools and education – making sure every child gets a good start
  • Library – supporting efforts to bring our library back to life as a hub for learning and connection
  • Youth activities and elder care – supporting young people and older residents to feel valued and included

Cynthia knows that many of these services are not run by the Town Council, but she believes the council should still speak up and do all it can to protect them.

๐ŸŒณ Protecting Green Spaces and Heritage

Cynthia cares deeply about Woodstock’s green spaces and history. These places are more than just scenery — they are where we walk, play, relax, and feel proud to live.

She will:

  • Stand up against overdevelopment
  • Protect parks, playgrounds, and nature
  • Respect Woodstock’s history while helping it grow in a way that fits its character

A Councillor Who Listens

Cynthia wants to be a councillor who listens to everyone — families, young people, older residents, and businesses. She will hold regular sessions to hear your ideas and concerns.

Her goal is simple: a fairer, greener, more connected Woodstock:

  • Fairer – so no one is left behind
  • Greener – so we do our part for climate and nature
  • Connected – so everyone feels part of something valuable

Cynthia is positive, passionate, and practical. She brings a fresh outlook and a strong desire to build a better future — for her son, and for every resident of Woodstock.

On Thursday 1st May, vote for Cynthia Muthoni

She will stand up for people, protect our town, and work for a better future for all.
